The article titled "DotNetNuke - Make your own Portal" was published in the Inaugural issue of MSDN Magazine, Australia and New Zealand edition.

The article (co-authored by Todd Mitchell) uses an example based on the announcements module to explain how custom business objects, the Patterns & Practices Group Data Provider Pattern and DotNetNuke helper classes allow DNN to run on any database.
